I grew up as a Navy brat and listening to this album a million times over, thanks to my Dad. Leaving on a jet plane will forever remind me of my Dad having to fly out for his next assignment/tour of duty. I'm 55 now, my Dad has been gone 6 years and this song will probably make me cry for the rest of my life ~ thanks for the memories!!

I prefer his chorus albums and I thank very much the person that posted this. I love the voices of the women who sang the leads in the chorus but who were these angelic women primarily and men who sang these songs. This was such a different time in my life and these covers of these hit songs retrieve such memories for me. This album is not as good as his Themes for Young Lovers but this ”mood music” album is still very good. Sometimes we need to not criticize and just enjoy.
