Liberation, the sixth studio album by Norwegian black metal band 1349, is a masterful display of the band's relentless aggression and technical prowess. From the opening track, "Through Eyes of Stone," to the epic closer, "Stand Tall in Fire," the band delivers a punishing assault of blast beats, tremolo-picked riffs, and guttural vocals that will leave listeners breathless.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Blood Vaults," which features a haunting intro before launching into a blistering assault of black metal fury. The song also showcases the band's ability to incorporate atmospheric elements into their music, adding a layer of depth to their sound.

Another highlight is "Tunnel of Set XI," which features a driving rhythm and a memorable chorus that will have fans chanting along. The song also features some impressive guitar work, with intricate solos and harmonies that add to the overall intensity of the track.

1349 started in 1994 as Hofdingi Myrkra with Ravn (drums, vocals) and Seidemann (bass, guitar). Soon Tjalve (guitar) and Balfori (guitar) from Alvhiem were recruited but Balfori stay was short as he soon left the band. On their first demo "Chaos Preferred
